Humanist Organisations

There are Humanist organisations in almost every country around the globe. Globally the organisation for Humanists is Humanists International, formerly the International Humanist and Ethical Union.

It would be impossible to list all Humanist Organisations here. Most of the organisations below are UK-based. The big event in the UK Humanist calendar is the Humanists UK annual convention. Most local groups in the UK meet regularly for social and discussion events.

UK-based organisations

  • Most regions of the UK have local Humanist groups. These groups meet regularly and hold regular events and discussions. You can find a list of the UK groups here.

  • Humanists UK is the major organisation for UK Humanists. Information about Humanists UK is available here.

  • Humanists Scotland is the major Humanist organisation for Scotland and information about them can be found here.

  • Young Humanists is the 18-35 year olds section of Humanists UK. Information about this group can be found here.

  • LGBT Humanists can also be found under the banner of Humanists UK with information here.
